Dan Jarvis meets Barnsley charity TADS

Barnsley Central MP and South Yorkshire Mayor Dan Jarvis met with Carly Turnbull, General Manager of Therapies for Anxieties, Depression and Stress (TADS) to discuss the crisis in mental health amongst children and young people.

Commenting, Dan Jarvis said:

“As a local MP, the thing that keeps me awake at night is the crisis in mental health amongst our children and young people. It was a real pleasure to meet with Carly and hear about the amazing work that TADS do to support young people in our local communities.

“It was incredibly heartening to hear that TADS are going from strength-to-strength. I’d encourage everyone to support their vital work wherever possible.

“It was good to meet with Dan Jarvis last week to explain the work TADS are doing to provide bespoke therapies for children and young people who are suffering from anxiety, depression and stress.

“Here at TADS, we are passionate about giving every child the best start in life and helping them to achieve their full potential.”

“I’m delighted that Dan has had the chance to meet with TADS and hear first-hand the fantastic work they are doing with the children and young people across the Borough - especially with it being one of my chosen charities to support”.
