Here's Dan's blog from his final day in Westminster. Next stop, Barnsley...
Today has been another extremely busy day with lots of meetings with fellow members and constituents, here in Westminster.
This morning I attended Business Questions in the chamber. It’s been a bad week for Vince Cable and his answers today continued to baffle. His analysis of how British business is coping in the current climate is far different from the analysis of the business people I meet in Barnsley.
We had some great news this afternoon as well. I have been granted an adjournment debate on ‘Economic Regeneration in Barnsley.’ It’s always difficult to secure a debate, so I am delighted that I will get the chance to put the issues that matter to business in Barnsley, before the Ministerial team.
I am conscious of the fact that as I will shortly be participating in a live web chat on the ‘We Are Barnsley’ website.
The link to come and ask me a question is http://www.wearebarnsley.com/live-chat/.
After the web chat I am jumping straight back on a train and heading for home.
Have a great evening.
Dan
